MORE RENEWABLE ENERGY FOR THE FUTURE
The energy sector plays a leading role in contributing to the technological progress of measures to reduce carbon emissions.
In order to support energy transition, it is essential to promote energy diversification, i.e., go beyond the use of natural resources and management of waste and wastewater generated in all stages of the operation.
We adopt the best practices for the installation of our solar power plants, combined with state-of-the-art technology, to ensure minimal environmental impact.
We also contribute to the diversification and expansion of the energy mix in Brazil by promoting a higher use of solar energy, which is a renewable source, directly supporting the fight against the impact of climate change.
Why choose renewable energy?
The future of electricity energy requires solutions that operate responsibly and consciously. Understanding the commitment to society and the environment, GDSUN promotes the energy transition, providing electrical energy with technical excellence from an inexhaustible and abundant source.
Solar energy is strongly used in all consumption classes. In addition to its economic benefit, this clean and responsible option manages constraints with a focus on mitigating environmental impacts, optimizing the use of such large energy capacity produced.
ESG PRACTICES FOR EFFICIENT AND SUSTAINABLE ENVIRONMENTAL GOVERNANCE
Our mission is to reduce the emission of pollutants and contribute with solutions that enable a future with clean and responsible energy.
For this reason, GDSUN has made partnerships for an active participation in programs and actions that support the development of new technologies.
Today, Brazil is the country that consumes most energy from renewable sources. In 2021, the Ministry of Mines and Energy in Brazil announced that 85% of the energy produced in the country comes from clean sources and, although a large part is still produced in hydroelectric plants, in recent years the search for low-impact and low-cost solutions has increased, thus increasing the demand for photovoltaic solar energy sources.
GDSUN joined the UN Global Compact initiative.
Partnership with SunR to promote reverse logistics in the Brazilian photovoltaic sector.
Plant compensation through the participation in initiatives like REDD+ projects, seedling donations to municipalities and restoration of project areas.
SOCIAL AND CORPORATE GOVERNANCE ACTIONS ARE PART OF GDSUN’S ROUTINE
